Hypershade Paragraph

From the Intro to Hypershade video by Brendan Gallagher on YouTube, I've learned that, by using Hypershade, one could make the illusion that an object is textured, even if the object is something as simple as a sphere or plane. This helps the systems with the object stress less over the amount of polygons and can formulate the scene much quicker for viewer/player to enjoy. One could change the color, pattern, and texture by applying the proper materials; even controlling where the color, pattern, and/or texture goes onto the object.
Plus texturing adds more value to the video/game if done right.
