Learning Premiere Pro CC

Within Premiere Pro CC, you are able to import various kinds of audio and/or video files and formulate one coherent film after editing and the such. To make the process of editing easier, Premier has a plethora of shortcut keys that would be well worth learning. Just a few examples are:

  • spacebar = play/pause the video
  • + = zoom into the timeline
  • Ctrl when moving a clip and/or audio in = moves it in between the two clips already in the sequence
  • the left or right key when in the sequence = skips to the next keyframe in that direction
  • and many others that would make up a really long list
Of course you can always edit the shortcuts when you would like to fit your own preferences, but make sure it's something that makes sense so not only you remember it, but if others were using your version of the program, they can work it too.
Overall, Premiere Pro CC is a very interesting program, providing everything you would need to make an amazing film, so long as you learn to master it.
